Cat Weldon is a children’s author who writes funny middle grade fantasy stories with a particular interest in offbeat fairy tales and world mythology. Her hilarious debut trilogy, How to be a Hero, was published by Macmillan Children’s Books, and her new series of graphic novels, Amelia Cheeseheart Investigates, will be published by Guppy Books next year. With a Masters degree in Scriptwriting and a background in children’s theatre, Cat is kept busy with school and library visits and is a regular speaker at literary and historic events. She splits her remaining time between writing, teaching, and chasing her collection of delinquent chickens through the neighbours gardens. Cat lives in East Anglia with her family and can often be found in museums.
