Suzanne Bull MBE

Suzanne has both a personal & professional interest in improving disabled people’s access to culture, in particular live music, founding the charity Attitude is Everything in 2000 & being a Non-Exec Director of CIC Creative United. She was awarded an MBE for services to disabled people, music & the arts in 2013. But her life took an unexpected turn in March 2020 when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. In December of the same year, she started her blog called ‘The Musings Of Spu’ which is all about being disabled & then receiving a cancer diagnosis. Earlier this year she contributed to ‘Someone’s Survival Guide – real stories & advice from Breast Cancer survivors. She is also an Honorary Fellow of Falmouth University. She has won several awards – Music Week’s Women In Music ‘Campaigner of the Year Award’, the Editor’s Choice ‘Access All Areas’ & Keychange’s ‘Inspiration Award.’ After being listed in Shaw Trust’s Disability Power 100 List for several year’s, she is now one of their judges.
