Bestselling author of Constellations: Reflections from Life, Sinéad Gleeson joins us to explore the folklore and the feminine of a wild and rugged island in her eerily haunting debut novel, Hagstone, as she draws into a world where the line between reality and myth blurs, and where the darker shadows of human nature mingle with the mysteries of faith and the natural world. For artist Nell, the island is her home and the source of inspiration for her art – it is also the home of the mysterious Inions, a commune of women who have travelled there from all over the world and consider it a place of refuge and safety, of solace in nature.
